Link – 4 Bar MAP Sensor – 100-0165
The Link sensor reads up to 4 Bar absolute pressure. This means that it is suitable for turbo or supercharged applications running up to 3. Bar (or 44psi) of boost pressure. The wiring pinout for this sensor is marked directly on the sensor.
Includes 3-pin Deutsch DTM connector kit
Easy to mount via 2 bolt holes.Note that the sensor should be mounted higher than the intake manifold port that the hose connects to.
Compact aluminium enclosure
Mechanical connection via 4mm (3/16?) hose connector nipple.

“Knocking” occurs when the air-fuel mixture self-ignites prematurely. Sustained knocking causes damage primarily to the cylinder head gasket and cylinder head. The knock sensor identifies the high-frequency engine vibrations characteristic of knocking and transmits a signal to the ECU. The aim is to obtain the maximum energy yield by starting ignition as early as possible. Engines with a knock sensor can reduce fuel consumption and increase torque.
For off-road use only, not intended for highway vehicles. This ECU contains a user-configurable software programme, which is updated by Link Engine Management Ltd from time to time.
The user must ensure the current correct version of this programme is downloaded from the website of Link Engine Management Ltd and installed in the ECU prior to use. The user is solely responsible for the setup and testing of all user-configurable features.
